NFR / Evaluation License Request

Not-for-Resale (NFR) Software can be requested by partners for their internal and limited use. NFR software can be used at partner training facilities and briefing centres to demonstrate product functionality to prospects and customers or train partner employees. NFR software may also be used by Partner Technical staff for the purposes of issue reproduction, configuration testing, and other authorized purposes. NFR software may not be used on internal production networks, resold, or otherwise transferred, distributed, or used to develop customer solutions unless the partner is an authorized Kofax Solution Provider. NFR software may never be installed on an end customer site.

Evaluation copies of software (EVAL) are intended for potential end users who are not Kofax partners. EVAL software may be implemented in customer environments and is intended as a tool for customers to determine whether the Kofax solution suits their business requirements. EVALs are not to be used for production purposes and may contain watermarks, volume caps or other limitations that would make them unsuitable for production deployment. The licence is intended for evaluation purposes in customer-facing environments in a pre-sale situation and may NOT under any circumstances be used for customer project development work which is subsequently intended to be used in a production environment.

Partners wishing to request NFRs for themselves or provide evaluation copies of software (EVAL) to potential end users can request them here. Please be sure to provide customer contact information for any evaluation requests. The delivery of software is restricted to official company email accounts only and will not be provided to generic email domains such as gmail.com.

Standard requests are usually processed within two working days.

Important: For a Partner to be able to contact Kofax Support for technical assistance on either an NFR or Production License, they must have first passed the Troubleshooting e-Learning certification. Therefore, Partners must route all their technical inquiries via their certified Troubleshooting team, who are authorized to contact Kofax Support.
