Implement the 1% VAT raise in June 2024

Previously, the Israeli government approved a 1% VAT increase, from 17% to 18%, to be implemented on 1 January 2025.

The Finance Ministry, however, is looking to bring forward the 1% VAT hike to June 2024 in order to raise extra funding for Gaza.
